Unless noted, the values below apply to all thirteen states: Connecticut, Delaware,Massachusetts,
Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, West
Virginia, and Vermont.

Number of species  = 45 (plus 5 other user defined species), except Rhode Island which has 41.

Minimum DBH for a tree to have 1 pulp bolt (1 pulp bolt = 8')  = 3.5" for a softwood and  = 4.5 or 4.6" for a  
hardwood, except ME, NH, and VT = 4.6" for softwoods and CT and NY= 5.5 for hardwoods
Minimum DBH for a tree to have 1/2 sawlog (1 log = 16')  = 11.5"  for a softwood and  = 11.5"  for a hardwood,
except ME, NY , VT = 11.5" and NY = 9.5" for softwoods and ME, NH, VT = 11.0 and NY = 10.5 for hardwoods
Minimum DBH for a tree to have 1/2 veneer log (1 log = 16')  = 13.5"  for a softwood and  = 13.5"  for a hardwood,
except NY = 11.5 for softwood and ME, NH, VT = 13.0 for a hardwood.

Maximum sawlog height = 4 logs
Maximum veneer height = 2-1/2 logs
Minimum total height  = 10'
Maximum total height  =130'

Minimum site index  =  10'

Default pulp volume table - NED system, except MD, NH, NY = Young system, NJ and OH = Scott,
CT = Connecticue local, and PA = Pennsylvania system
